New Years Tambourines

Tambourines and karaoke what better way to celebrate at a New Year’s Eve party? Karaoke is fun for everyone, whether they sing along or just listen and applaud. Send out invitations that are shaped like tambourines or have pictures of tambourines on them. Explain in the invitation that you are having a karaoke party and all the guests are invited to join in if they want to. You will always have some guests who want to be a “star” and others who want to be in the audience. That will work great for your New Year’s Eve party because every “star” needs an audience and every “audience needs to be entertained. Look into renting a karaoke machine if you don’t own one. Make sure you have both current hits, and oldies but goldies for the karaoke.

When you New Year’s Eve party guests arrive give them small tambourines so they will be ready when the karaoke starts. Encourage your guests to participate by either singing along or playing their tambourines to accompany the singing. You may even want to play an instrumental and let everyone play along on their tambourines. Your New Year’s Eve party will be one that is not soon forgotten and your guests will get into the spirit of the party by singing and playing. The tambourines will make great party favors and you could get an few extra nice ones to give as party prizes to the two or three guests that are named the winners if you decide to make it a karaoke / talent contest.
