New Years Centerpieces

Centerpieces can be a fun way to celebrate New Year’s Day. That’s right centerpieces! Send out invitations to your friends letting them know that you are planning a crafting party to start the New Year off right. Then shop the craft stores, discount stores and dollars stores for the craft supplies. You don’t have to get extremely complicated to end up with wonderful, beautiful centerpieces that your guests can take home. Try getting some glass bowls at the dollar store. Get them in different colors and be sure that some are clear. Your New Year’s Day centerpieces can be made for the winter or they can be year round centerpieces. Get some sytrofoam to put in the bowls then pick artificial flowers, greenery and fruit. Add festive ribbon in wintery New Year’s colors and other more neutral colors. This will let you New Year’s Day guests pick their own favorite colors.

When guests arrive for the New Year’s Day party give each one a basket with all the centerpiece making supplies in it and let them get started. Every New Year’s Day party guest may not be as creative when it comes to floral arrangements, so make sure to have one or two sample centerpieces that you have already made, setting out for guests to see, touch and take apart if necessary. Every party that has had balloons as a part of its decorations always looks inviting and fun to be a part of. Balloons are one of the most inexpensive items that you can use for decorating a party. No matter what the occasion, scatter them all around the house,, everywhere! And if it's a kids party, engage kids in the house for some fun and let them paint the inflated balloons with funny faces.
