New Years Candles

Candles are great any time, but even more so for a New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day party. Having a New Year’s Eve party, with candles can really give it that little something special. Consider having silver and gold candles of all shapes and sizes. But don’t stop there. Have some silver and gold candles that sparkle and have glitter on them. Lighting the candles will give your New Year’s Eve party a wonderful atmosphere. But don’t even stop there. Try having scented candles and will greet your guests with wonderful; scents as they arrive and walk through your home. There is nothing more romantic and mysterious than candlelight. Use its warm glow to cast a beautiful light over your New Year’s Eve or even a New Year’s Day celebration. For New Year’s Day the glow may not be as instinctive but the scents will still be wonderful.

Candles also make wonderful party favors for your guests. You could give each guest a lovely little tea light holder with one or two little tea light candles. Consider soy candles for even longer lasting glows. Place them in a lovely little cloth gift bag and tie it with a festive ribbon.

Another idea is to make your New Year’s Day celebration a craft party and make…candles. If your friends are crafters or just like candles, get either the candles making supplies from a craft store or get candle making kits and give each guest a kit at the beginning of the party then help them to make their own candles to take home. The party favor has gotten big...really big! Depending on the party you are having, one great idea is martini glasses. . The reason is that they are such a unique glass and they can be imprinted with the date of the occasion and the guest's name. Martini glasses are inexpensive, effective and your guests will will really appreciate them.
