New Years Beach Balls

Beach Balls and New Years Day…..sounds like a hit to me! Do you live in an area that will most likely be cold or freezing on New Year’s Day, well turn the table on Mother Nature by throwing a New Year’s Day Beach party. Now I know Mother Nature just might not cooperate and give you 90 degree weather but who cares, you are going to be inside where it is warm and having a ball…a beach ball. The New Year’s party calls for hotdogs and hamburgers. If you have some diehard grillers let them go right ahead and grill outside. But in case you don’t just make the hotdogs and hamburger inside. Inflate beach ball balloons with helium and let them float around the room. Play beach music for your guests and in the invitations, which should look like beach balls, encourage them to wear summer cloths under their heavy winter coats and gloves.

Set the table with red and with checkered tablecloths and use paper plates, cups and napkins that have a summer theme. If you can’t find summer party supplies for you New Year’s Day party, then use solid yellow or another sunny summery color. String paper lanterns shaped like beach balls around the room (check online for these) and have mini beach balls in a large clear bowl to give out to your guests as New Year’s Day party favors. Have real beach balls scattered around the room for guests to toss around and to add to the general summery feel of the New Year’s Day party décor. What's a party without all the spectacular and fun party goods? Begin with a show-stopping invitation, then throw in some colorful decorations and themed paper goods. Finish your party off with a fabulous party favor for each guest and your party will certainly be memorable.
