Having a New Years Day word scramble is a lot of fun and most of your guests will enjoy this activity. For your guests a New Years Day word scramble is a great way of getting to know each other. New Years Day word scrambles are always fun and the perfect activity for all ages. Most often a word scramble is a way of taking one or more words and then creating smaller words from those letters. More often than not, the person that creates the most words in a set amount of time wins the game.

New Years Day word scrambles such as finding as many words as possible from the words, “Happy New Year” can be very exciting. To play this game, the hostess can divide the guests into groups or teams and then go over the rules. After everyone understands the rules, then the teams words to create as many words as possible out of the words, “Happy New Year.” An example of this would be the word, “reap.” The word, “reap,” comes from the letters in, “Happy New Year.” The winning team is most often the team that finds the most New Years Day words, but as with most games, New Years Day word scramble can be adapted and changed to meet the needs of your guests. Regardless of how the game is played, most often this game is prepared prior to the day of the party.

Another way to play New Years Day word scramble is to have the words, “Happy New Year,” on a sheet of paper. Then give this sheet of paper to each guest and go over the directions (same as for group), set the timer and let the guests being finding words. Once again, the winner is the person that finds the most words. Additionally, New Years Day word scramble is a great game for your family and friends.
